Harsha Yelchuri

I’m an M.Sc. Mobile Robotics student at the University of Bonn and a Student Research Assistant at Fraunhofer FKIE. My research focuses on robot learning, vision-language-action models, mobile manipulation, and active perception.

Previously, I was a Post-Baccalaureate Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, where I worked with Prof. Balaraman Ravindran on diffusion-based control policies for safe robot learning.

Before that, I was a Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, working with Prof. T. V. Prabhakar. My research included robotic teleoperation and digital twins, federated learning, speech-recognition evaluation metrics, resource-aware on-device learning and TinyML.

When I’m not busy with robots, you’ll find me behind a camera or probably watching anime.
